I'm looking at buying the LPI package for my Meade DS 2114.  The question I have is it possible to change out the camera for the LPI such as Philips ToUCam SPC900NC?  The LPI right now looks to be a decent camera but later I would like to be able to upgrade.  I know Meade has the DSI line but right now I would like to to try out imaging before I decide to buy one of the DSI's.

As any camera slips into the eyepiece holder you can use any camera and switch them as needed.
I think this is what you were asking.
If not please clarify.

What I'm wondering is if I replaced the LPI camera with a different one and use the  Autostar Suite  to autoguide the scope would it still work?  If I understand it right.  The  Autostar Suite with the LPI or DSI camera can track object.  If I were to use a another companys camera would it be able to work with the  Autostar Suite?

Autostar suite will work with only Meade products.
If you want to use a different Brand imager to guid with you would need a program like PHD guide.
The LPI and DSI series all work well with Envisage and PHD.
