I started May with a solar binocular scan and recorded 3 sunspots:

That is cool!  I never thought much about using binoculars to view the sun. :)

That is cool!  I never thought much about using binoculars to view the sun. :)

Without trumpet-blowing, I think it could have been my original idea and I did it before I started photographing the Sun. I still use it as a quick grab-and-go method, especially in poor conditions.
