The first quarter moon was high in the west, close to Castor in Gemini. I snapped it with my DSLR at 300mm focal length, ISO 100 and 1/800 second exposure.

I have not been able to get out the last few nights. Hopefully, I can do so tonight. The Moon should be getting in the right position to show Gassendi Crater. I like to try and see the cracks in its bottom. Not sure why I want to do that particular one, but I find it fascinating somehow.
