You are way out of my league with what you are wanting to do. I mostly work with entry and intermediate level scope and have not gotten into imaging. I am watching your post for any answers, but have not seen any so far, as you know.
I was wondering if you had tried Meade Customer Support. I am not sure if they have an answer, but they might have something. They are working from home, due to Covid-19, and not answering the phone at the office, but are answering emails at customersupport@meade.com. If you have not talked to them, I can send an email to them, then post whatever I get for an answer here for others to see in the future. If you would rather contact them yourself, I will stay out of the way, which might keep me from garbling the message somehow.
