Not a great month but at least I had a few moon photos and an interesting snap of Venus just before sunrise. It was a shame about the Perseid meteor shower:

Looks like you were busy on August 1! :)

I have been getting out some with an EclipseView 76 in the evenings.  Sharp little scope. I am working up a set of eyepieces for it, mostly some 60 degree Konigs and three of my 5000 series 60 degree Plossles.  An older edition of the new Meade Plastic Aspheric eyepieces is going to make the 10mm spot in the lineup and the 23mm may.  I need to get the whole setup out in the daytime and use it for what the telescope is being sold for! :P
