As some of you know, one of my personal challenges is to see a Perseid and (better) catch one on camera as early as possible. I saw my first on July 21st, 4 days after the official start.

 

I still haven't caught any on camera this year but have caught a couple of sporadics while trying.

 

I saw a magnitude 0 one tonight at 2117 GMT.

Hi Phillip,

 

I bet that zero mag meteor was exciting!

 

It has been cloudy here lately when I was in a position to go out.
