August was poor for the Moon and planets, for me, but great for meteors.

Thanks, Phillip!  Nice video.

 

Looks like the sun was "cooling its heals," so to speak, this month.

 

August went by pretty fast for me, but the astronomy was mostly opposite.  Had fairly descent planets, but too many clouds at the appropriate times for meteors.

Sometimes the weather was OK for planets but I had early starts for work the next day. I also had PC troubles with my Bresser Electronic Eyepiece.
