Weather was perfect last night in the northwest corner of Alabama for imaging, clear and cool. I shot the NGC 891 galaxy for the first time and was pretty pleased with how it turned out. I took 120 shots of 50 seconds each. The stacking program chose 85 of the best ones. After processing with PixInsight and Photoshop, this is what I ended up with. This thing is 30 million light years away and was straight up overhead last night.
