Shot the Western Veil Nebula last night with the LX90.  Also used the OIII filter to get some detail.  Got to have more time to use the Ha filter.

I have had no problem getting it with my trusty LX90 and Canon T5.  I think the problem with it is actually seeing it through the eyepiece.  Other than aligning the scope and occasionally looking at the moon, planets or sun, I rarely even look through any eyepieces.  Once aligned, I attach the camera, connect it to the laptop and off I go!

Awesome photos Steve. Every time I look at your photos I kind of chuckle as I was told by a so called expert that the Meade LX90 was junk and that I should look at something else rather than them. I didn’t take that advice and happy I didn’t.

Thanks guys for all the positive comments.  I have really enjoyed my Meade 8" LX90.  I like to see just how far I can push it.
