First Shot of Sunspots

I made an off-axis solar filter using Thousand Oaks Optical film, a Pringles can and a 9" burner eye cover.  Also made a filter for the finder scope.  After Polar aligning, I shot this pic on 4/1/17 of our nearest star.  I still need to work on the focus but I didn't think it was too shabby for a first try.

In order to do very much better, you will probably have to do some of that image stacking business.
