I apologize in advance if this topic has been dicussed before but I cant seem to find an answer anywhere...

With that being said here is my question....

Is there a device driver that will allow the DSI to connect with windows 10 ?

I just bought a new computer and loaded everything up. I have a LX200 GPS scope and a DSI camera. I downloaded all necessary software to run the scope and everything seems to work but the camera. The computer does not recognize the camera. Its connected to a USB port but shows up as an unknown device. All research has been exhausted in finding a driver.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Dan,

I do not have an answer for your question, but I am watching for responses.  I have a DSI Pro II that I would like to use in the future and am saving an XP machine for that.  I have one of the LPI-G Color units and its software does work with it on Windows 10.  At this point, I do not know if the new software for the LPI-G can work with a DSI.  I am a rank beginner with any type of imaging.

Hopefully, someone else knows.

Bill,

Everything works now. I guess once you download all the required software that is readily available on Meade's website and then restart your computer afterwards it works. Once I restarted my laptop and reconnected the camera, windows 10 recognized it and it started working. It even calls it a DSI Camera.

Hope this will help you in the future.

Dan
