Hi all,

due to really bad astro-obs. weather conditions, for months, in Copenhagen, Denmark area, I can only show you this Lum galaxy picture.

Taken with LX200ACF 16" SCT, Atik 460ex mono camera & a Lum Baader filter.

NGC891-Lum-66-60secFinal-RN-NCSize90pct.

Total exposure time: 66*60sec and taken 15/16. Dec-2015.

Take care & kind regards Niels

Nice image.  I hope to get started with imaging this year.  It is rare to get a clear sky in my location.  Living near NYC sky glow, and with all the airport traffic it will be a challenge.

Thanks, for comments & good luck E.Sully.

Yes, light polution is a real "killer" for taking photos of galaxies.

Kind regards Niels

Hi Niels!

Glad to see you are still taking images, even if the conditions are not the best.  This have been a bit frustrating here as well.  Any time I have good conditions, there seems to be something else that gets in the way!

Best Regards,

Bill Steen

Thanks Bill, nice to hear from you again. Yes, I'm still hanging in. Sure I know what you mean, higher priority tasks sometimes take all the time. Best regards Niels
