Hello everyone from Reg in Great Yarmouth, England.

I have just adjusted the focuser on my LX90 8" ACF.as per http://jan.eaglecree...rg/focuser.html

 

Afterwards, while focusing I had a wire ring fall from somewhere in the tube, attached (hopefully) is a picture of it still inside the tube.
Does anyone know what it is and where it fits, looks like a retaining clip! could it be off the baffle tube?

I can still use the focuser OK

I hope someone can advise.

I am not sure, but it looks to me like a keeper ring of some sort. If it is as large as it looks in the picture, it probably comes from the secondary mirror area. I would email the pictures to customerservice@meade.com as ask them. Or, give them a call at 1(800) 626-3233.
