Hi,
here a first attempt with equatorial mode with LS6 and 5x120sec exposure, with Canon 1100d. I'm sure there will get even a little more.
Have worked roughly the image with DSS.

Nice job.I didnt realize there was room when in the store position to keep a diagonal on.I also didnt know there was an option in the hand paddle to do a eq align. But it has been a while since Ive had my LS out.

Thanks, Wolfgang!
I am watching what you are doing with interest. Even though I do not have an LS now, I am glad that you are exploring this possibility.

Hi Mark and Bill,
I always have the same location and according to the observations I make the telescope back to the North Star and turn the telescope.
Whether it is an option in the equatorial mode on Autostar Controller (Hand Paddle) I have not yet explored. The telescope will always remain on the wedge. Unfortunately, the alignment is only possible with an asterisk. Even when I enter 2-star alignment in the setup, it is not recognized at the next start.
Unfortunately, the mechanical handling in the equatorial mode is very difficult to bring the Polarstern always Polsucher exactly following the star pattern of Polsuchers. The equatorial mode would actually deserves more attention at Meade.

Hello,
was yesterday in wonderful starry sky with my LS 6 Equatorial go and have kept on M31 times. There are far better and quality images, but with my modest telescope I am happy with my result.
Taken with the Canon 1100d (Rebel T3) unmodified, with Antares f / 6.3, Parks APL filter at the prime focus.
Ligthframes 5 x 80 sec ISO 6400
4 x 70 sec ISO 3200
20 x 60 sec ISO 3200
Dark frames 7x
Produced with DSS and Fitswork (Freeware)
Will continue to practice diligently.

Hello,
have now assembled and tested the azimuth adjustment. It all works as I have constructed. Now I can make an accurate azimuth adjustment.
I still have some pictures to look at.
