Has anyone found a source for a longer handset cable then the one that comes with the LX200ACF scope?

To get even more specific, the cord and connector (Autostar II) are the same as that from a telephone handset to the phone base. It is a straight through wiring.

If you have the correct crimper head, cable and connectors (available online) you can make your own cables.

Fortunately, a member of our astronomy club made one for me-using a flat cable.

The only online source I found was at Ebay, from England. They are about 25 feet long, if I remember correctly.

I hope you get to purchase or make one.
