I'm hoping to bag some images of the solar eclipse next week but big problem!!! I cant for the life of me remember how I put my Coranado PSI and Canon 450d together ( old age thing) I have taken a few solar images before about 18months ago and remember it entailed My T ring, T adapter with 15mm or 30mm or both extension, barlow with lens removed, I think?
Hope somebody can give my sad old brain a kick start, would be most grateful.
Regards Dave.

I do not have any tips or suggestions for what you are trying to do, but I understand your situation perfectly.....if you get my drift.

When you do get it worked out again take a few detailed pictures of it all put together and save them for future reference. That might help next time. Sorry I can't help you out now however.

If anyone can crack this one, please let me know, too. As I understand it, focus travel isn't one of the PST's strong points. It's why I still use afocal with my PST.

It all has to do with the build date. The older PSTs seem to have a better infocus and that is what we ween.I had a newer pst here ans Meade changed something and I could NOT get my DSI to come close to focusing but my old model had no issues.
