Sunday 22nd Sept, from Australia. I captured an eruptive prominence thru a Solarmax II 60 mm (SS) scope via a Canon 550d DSLR camera, images are single exposures, first at 11 am, second 1 pm, third at 2 pm. By 3 pm the prominence had gone. The Sun has moved across the sky during this time so prominence has rotated towards right. Click image to enlarge. Thanks for viewing.

Thanks, John. Your shots look really good! I really envy you guys doing the solar stuff. One of these days, I MUST get me a Coronado and get into imaging. I am really interested, but I cannot see the sun through a telescope with my eyes.

I really enjoy seeing the images people post!

Best Regards,

Nice images. I missed my PST while I was away on business and now I'm back in England, it is cloudy.
