With the 2x adapter on the Canon I should be at 2000mm for the camera lense. My son made the extension to fit under the tripod head so in theory if I focus on a star and then aim the camera head to it I should be able to get some decent photos.

We had a slight problem with one of gears warping from the paint but we shimmed it straight and it works smooth.

The paint is definitely not white, but it still looks good.
If you take that to a star party, you will draw a crowd.

Jeff Jacobs who filmed Dobson for 2 years and built his own scope. So he asked Jeff where I could find the film and ... gave him a link to my facebook page.. Jeff wrote ..
