I have a 200lxgps and i am having some probs as to whitch way the electrics are to face north or south with the wedge on and how to aligne it

The electronics should be on the North side of the tripod. If you stand in front if the control panel, you will be facing south. With the scope on the wedge, it will lean to the north. An imaginary line through the wedge and scope should be pointing to the North.

Never mind. I guess it's been too many years since I had a wedge in the observatory! The above is correct.

Yep, on a GEM it is the other way around...

can anyone tell me what the meade lx200gps on a wedge looks like in the home position pryer to turning on the power to do the solar alinement
