Hello, all. This is a post from August 15th: "Recently bought lx50 from a private party, and seemed to work great, but now when I plug in the power adapter, or AA batteries, the hand unit and dec line, I power it up, it goes through the quick diagnostics (lights on handset rotates like its supposed to) and them the power light blinks and the hand unit will not function. Also, can the OTA and the forks work on the ls200 mount? Thanx, DRL".
Now, I have another question about the same 'scope. It came to be that the PIC16c57-xt/sp chip (the brain?) fried, and can be replaced. But, because the original burned in software will probably never be found, so, can another form of the software be used and still have tracking and slewing with the hand controller? This my be out of range for some, a chinch for others. Again, thanx. DRL
