Recently bought lx50 from a private party, and seemed to work great, but now when I plug in the power adapter, or AA batteries, the hand unit and dec line, I power it up, it goes through the quick diagnostics (lights on handset rotates like its supposed to) and them the power light blinks and the hand unit will not function. Also, can the OTA and the forks work on the ls200 mount? Thanx, DRL

I don;t know anything about an LX 50, but I believe there is an instruction manual on the regular Meade site, www.meade.com, in the customer support section. They have a bunch of different manuals there that you can download. I would make sure the contacts for the cords are clean. That can cause all sorts of weird problems when dirty.

There is a gentleman, Ron Sampson, that works on LX 200 Classics. He might be able to help you. His email address is rsampsonus@yahoo.com.

Hope this helps,
