
Can I observe Perseid Meteor on the north of Spain?

Perseid meteor will be available for observation soon, its visible on the northern hemisphere, but I don't know if the North of Spain could enter there.

You should be able to. Even if you cannot see the constellation Perseus, you should be able to see meteors coming from that general direction.

I have been working on the problem and have something that can really filter out the clouds, but it also filters out everything else.
It leaves a really dark sky to view, though. It looks a lot like a lens cover.

I saw 2 falling stars and my girl saw 6... not her first time checking falling starts(mine yea :S). They where amazing! The first one come and then the second one did right after the other one, like if the two pieces entering the atmosphere where part of the same object and separate not that long ago.

That is cool! (smile) Watching a meteor shower is quite a bit different than other forms of astronomy. It is a bit more like what astronomers did before the invention of the telescope.

To day I did observe with my girlfriend the moon with the telescope and a nearby star.
