In a nutshell, I set my LXD55 up on Saturday night everything worked fine. Went to 'SLEEP' Mode for Sunday night. Covered it with a beach towel to shade it from the brutal Texas heat. Was going to 'Wake' the scope up and everything was DEAD. No Power at all. Changed plug outlets, changed power cords and my LXD55 is Dead.
"Anyone have any ideas, or should I just pack it up and send it to MEADE for some work?"

I have heard that Autostar hand controller doesn't like the heat! I experienced issues with it after leaving my setup in the backyard for a few days as I had good polar alignment. Even though it was covered, I started getting erratic behaviours from the HC randomly. (You can see a post I placed here today about that). If you have made sure of your power source integrity, then I would think your Autostar HC is probably shot. It would be great if you could try a different hand set to narrow down the problem. Good luck!
