I have a 12-inch telescope LX90 ACF, which was purchased as new a year ago.
I usually go once a month for astronomical observations.
This telescope main problem is mechanical instability.
Very slight breeze causes vibration and mechanical instability and prevent the possibility to observe through a telescope.
Also touching the focuser causes vibration of the fork and very hard reaching focus.
Questions:
1.Is this a problem that is common to such a telescope , that is 12 inch tube on lx90 fork.?
2.Is there a way to solve the problem of vibration ?.
3.Is it possible to replace the lx90 fork from lx90 to lx200?
4.Which equatorial mount could fit the 12 inch tube ?
Thanks in advance for your advice
