Hello,
My Meade UWA 24mm eyepiece is losing protective exterior coating on the top lens where you look through, thus causing a blur on any viewing objects. The coating now looks like dust but it's not.
However, the bottom lens(in the 2" barrel) are in excellent condition.
Is this something Meade would replace for me?

Hi anhtuanb!
Welcome to the 4M Community Forum.
You either need to call Meade Customer Support or the store where you bought the eyepiece to find out.
If the eyepiece is within it warranty period, and you have not done anything to it to make the coating come off, I would think so. But, I am not an expert on that. After all, they do have a one year warranty. I just do not know that the word "limited" in front of the word "warranty" means exactly.
On the regular Meade website, www.meade.com, there is a support tab, then the option for customer support. On that page, there is a 1-800 number for customer support.
Best Regards,
