The other night I tried something out of curiosity :  I turned my LX90 GPS on , connected it to my laptop , established a comm link to Autostar Suite .  I then moved the cursor to an object , hit "slew scope" and it actually worked .  I did not due a star alignment prior to this .
The next test will be to do this again - but with the LNT module unplugged . . . I'm curious to see if the settings in the suite program will inform the the un-aligned , time-date-location ignorant 497 ?
I'll post my results when I find out .
