Auto guiding problems.

Envisage doesn't want to connect to my etx ls 6. I'm using the newest envisage on my windows 7 64 bit laptop connected via USB. Any suggestions on getting the software to connect and guide the scope for taking pics?

I am having same issue with LX800 and Autostar II.
LX850 with 10" ACF OTA and Takahashi FS 60C OTA -- SBIG STT-8300M CCD with FW8G-STT Self Guiding Filter Wheel and SBIG AO-8 Adaptive Optics -- Camera Control and Image Calibration with Maxim DL/CCD Pro, Image processing with PixInsight, and final composition with Photoshop CS5

Have you tried differet port settings? If I recall right I had to use something odd like Port #5. I'll check just to be sure the next time I'm imaging.

You will need to check in your control panel on what ports are available for it.Then try different numbers.
Depending on how many com ports your PC has will determin how may you have to choose from.

I have the proper port number -- the Handbox just cannot be found on Windows 7 -- my WIndows XP system faired much better...

I've tried everything I can think of. It shouldn't be so difficult. USB is mean to be plug and play :(
