I was wondering what the minimum and maximum storage temperature for an rcx400 scope is? I plan on leaving my scope out in a Skyshed POD all of the time but it gets below 0 in winter and nearly 100 in summer.

I live in southern Indiana and have about the same temp diff that you do. I have had my scope mount in my observatory all year long and have not noticed any temp problems with it.

Probably the biggest thing is to make sure you power the scope up periodically. The capacitors used in the circuits are large and can dry out if left for months without power being applied. Then when you turn the scope on they can blow out (you'll hear a 'pop').
Make sure you power up the scope at least monthly for 10 minutes or so. Don't leave it in a closet for months on end (or worse, out in a hot, sealed struture).
