Yesterday I looked at SS955.
It was looking nice so I decided to set the pst on the LX200 for imaging.
I got it all set up and camera on as i was focusing it slowly faded away on me
It dissapeared in a matter of minutes.
this was all I got on it.

What caused the mystery fade away?  At any rate, a very nice full disk image. I like the east limb prominences.

If we get a break in the clouds, I will also try to get 955.  I am hoping that I will be able to communicate via my wireless modem with the NOAA site, so that I can time my photos for xray enhancements.

Harold
Im not sure what caused it
It has been constantly changing when I was viewing it from a nice spot to oblong.
I was hoping to get a few images of it showing the changes but when I got all set up it slowly faded.
I waited for an hour or so but it was in and out very fast and wasnt as big as it was.
Right now im set back up for DSI imaging so this 1 will have to wait untill i get the rest of the neeed info for the other 2 DSO subjects im working on.

Regards
