8) First, I am very much a newbie.  So forgive my 'dumbness' about this.

I have a Coronado solararmax 60  filter system on a 3 inch refractor.  When trying to view the sun, the image I see in the eyepiece is real small.  I've tried several different eyepieces with the same result.

(I told you I am a newbie  .. possibly one of the dumbest  ;-|  )

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Well apart from me plugging a certain book, please let me know the focal length of your telescope and also of your eyepieces. Then I may be able to advise. My guess is that you need to use a Barlow lens and/or eyepiece of shorter focal length.
