:)
I find denk binoviewers hard to use with my solarmax 40 (but eay with my large dobs), seeing more detail with a single eyepiece.  Hard to find sun, get sun centered in both eyes, and get/keep head alligned, before losing the sun, and having to repeat the process.

Is this due to the BF5 blocking filter?  Would a BF10 allow more light and make the binoviewers more forgiving?

Has anyone compared a BF5 to BF10 on solarmax 40 (w/ or w/o denk binoviewers) on a non-tracking tripod.  Would a BF10 be easier to track & allign eyes in binoviewer?

Does anyone else have  a BF5 to BF10 on solarmax 40 (w/ or w/o denk binoviewers) on a non-tracking tripod.  Would a BF10 be easier to track & allign eyes in binoviewer? ???
