Just saw it this morning.
Wonder if Meade will man-up and make good on all the faulty/defective ones we all own. We shall see.

Judging form early reviews, this one does not seem any better.

From the various online reviews this one does not seem any better.
Maybe it is a good thing they do not support Mac computers as meade saved me from spending money with them for a product that is problematic.

So I had to send in mysky to get repaired, and meade sent me back a mysky plus. a major difference I noticd is that the get time from GPS option is n longer available. There is no mention about the GPS function eiher in the manual. I wonder if meade just removed the GPS reciever all together.

I noticed the same thing, no GPS. I've also noticed that my MySky is fairly off in its pointing. I tested it with Jupiter, and it was quite a distance off down and to the right. I wonder if they're going to offer an update for the plus.

I just got off the phone with Meade Support. They've replaced my MySky (for the third time), and gave me a MySky Plus. The new version doesn't have a GPS, and relies on the user to select a nearby city and set the time.
Perhaps Meade should partner with Celestron - my SkyScout works perfectly.
