This is a pair of nice images, also.
I am not at all sure that I have set the optimum position for the ring adjuster. You seem to have the filter near line center, and the image pretty well centered on the "hot spot". I seem to have a fairly intense hot spot, not well centered in the field of view. Could you explain your adjustment procedures?

When I generally do as before any imaging with the PST is I have to ollk at it for a bit visually (I think we all do)
When im looking visually I adjust the ring in many different positions to see different details and surfaces.
Now when im done waisting time visually Ill adjust the ring to give me all the best features allowable.
Ive found this to be right when the solar flars are seen.
With the tuner adjusted to see the flares it generally gives you great surface features too.
Once the tuner is set to this position Ill remove the eyepiece and insert the DSI in its place and just make a final focus without touching the tuner.
The advantage of using the dsi live preview is you can adjust the sun in the fov to negate the hot spot you are seeing.
If you can get this to a minimum the rest of it can be processed out.
If you need tips on this please feel free to ask.
Thanks for your help in the past and comments.
