Greetings,
As soon as there is a clear night I intend to test drive my LPI. The factory settings should be close, but, does anyone out there have any suggestions?
I am going to make a comparison with 3 telescopes on the same planet(Saturn).
A Meade ETX-125, ETX-60 and a very old Simmons 4.5 inch F7.84 reflector(just fitted with a old meade tripod and clock drive).
Any hints on the pictures would be helpful.
Respectfully,
Mark

The factory settings get you in the area but you still need to make final adjustments.
Make sure you dont use to long of an exposure as to not over saturate the chip.
Use as short of an exposure as you can and adjust the image in post processing.
For color balance do a preview then go to the CTRL panel and hit the suto whilt balance then start your captures.
