Hi Mark,

I posted this in the lightbridge section but didn't get any help.  Perhaps this is where I should have posted it.  Sorry I'm pretty new to this forum.

I thought I answered this but I may have forgot to hit post.
With the move going on at Meade things may be a bit behind.
You may want to call them and check on their progress.
It cant hurt.

Yes...I submitted a rebate for an ETX-125 in October 2007 as well ....and nothing yet!

I have sent 2 emails and no replies.  This is way past the 12-14 weeks they state for rebate processing.

I just send another email and if I dont get a reply, my next step is the Better Business Bureau!

Since they already have an "F" rating, perhaps the California Attorney General might also be interested.

I really -like- Meade's products, but numerous people have been asking about rebates,
and the office staff in Irvine hasn't -totally- disappeared.

I have even left 2 voicemails with the Meade4m customer service person who had previously told me to check in with them.  They havent returned either call.

Thanks for the tip about their BBB rating....the last time I had a rebate problem with a company, the BBB actually came through and got the situation resolved in about 3 days...so they actually work!

Well....its July 3rd 2008...and despite taking weeks to finally get Meade to acknowledge that they owe me a rebate and that they will send it out.....I still have NOT received my rebate.

This is bordering on fraudulent behavior ...they keep promising to send the rebate....and it never happens.  They just keep promising that accounting will get to it.

I will NEVER buy another Meade product ever!

OK..now its July 31st....guess what..still NO rebate.

They have called twice to tell me that the accounting department is about to send it....but it never arrives.

When I call again after 3 weeks...they say its still not been sent out.

This is unbelievable!
