Click-by-clicks:

http://www.weasner.c...ide-asu3x.html  <-- ASU firmware

http://www.weasner.c...libraries.html    <-- ASU User Objects

But if Meade's ASU is not -working- (can't connect, can't maintain connection)
then try StarPatch:  http://www.stargps.ca/starpatch.htm
(it can't update the Libraries, but it does a more robust job for updating
the Firmware)

have fun

I installed the version "g" in my AutoStar last year. It works fine, but Meade has not updated its satellite information since last year. It is better to track satellites with second party software like TheSky or TrackSat.

I have found that it is more fun to fiddle with the telescope through second party software and a notebook computer, via serial cable.

Is it easier?  What makes it more fun.  I do not understand.
