I just turned on my MySky, which has been used maybe four times since I bought it, and it is now informing me that I need to send it back to Meade for recallibration.
First my MySky turns out to have shipped with a defective SD card, then the updater that I downloaded from meade.com doesn't work, and now this. It's amazing how much of a disappointment this thing has turned out to be. I would have been happier opening the box up the day I bought it and finding a rock - it would have saved me days of lost time and frustration.

MySky Requires Recallibration ?!?

Yep - some of the early units had this problem, my first one did exactly this when I did my first update. They had me send it back to Meade for a replacement. Call them up, inform them of your extreme displeasure and get an RMA number - then ask them to send you a UPS shipper form, It'll save you about 12 bucks in shipping cost.
